Because who doesn't love pizza, and no one makes it quite like Buddy Valastro!

  • 3 & 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 3 quarters of a teaspoon of dry active yeast
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 & 1/3 cup of warm water
    • Warm water will activate the yeast
  • Mix & turn up the speed
    • Want all the flour to be mixed in & become a dough ball
  • Add bench flour to a baking board & flour to the dough ball
  • Knead the dough & fold back into itself
  • Add olive oil & dough to a mixing bowl
    • Olive oil gives the dough more flavor
  • Cover the bowl with a towel - Let rise for about 1 hour
  • Flour a sheet pan
  • Cut the dough into 3 parts for the 3 pizzas
  • Knead the dough ball, flatten it out & then shape with your hand - make it all come together & add to the sheet pan
  • Cover the sheet pan with a towel - let rise again for about one more hour

  • To make sauce, Buddy uses a food mill - but you can use either a mixer or a blender
  • 1 can of whole peeled tomatoes
  • Add salt
  • Add 1 packet of sugar which is about 1 teaspoon
  • Add 2 cloves of garlic
  • Add fresh pepper
  • Add about 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

  • Take the dough after it has risen & add flour to the kitchen board - knead dough
  • Roll out the doll to about 10 - 11 inches
  • Stretch out the pizza dough
  • Add cornmeal to the pizza peel
  • Open up the pizza on the pizza peel until it is nice and round
  • Spread out the pizza sauce using the ladle on the dough
  • Add fresh mozzarella
  • Add fresh basil
  • Give the pizza a shake to make sure it will slide off the pizza peel after it is baked
  • Cook on a pizza stone at 500 degrees in the oven for 7-10 minutes
    • You can use a sheet pan if you don't have a pizza stone
