If you've ever made a baby smile and felt your heart grow two sizes, this story is going to make your heart quadruple in size (not literally, but you know what we mean).

Jessica Sinclair, the mother of the baby in question (whose name is Piper), noticed her 10-month-old was slow to crawl and asked her pediatrician about it. Turns out Piper's vision was in need of correction, so, as Jessica told her area's TV station, they got her some cute glasses.

"A week later we picked up the glasses and she tried them on for a quick second in the office to make sure they fitted properly," she told WKRC Cincinnati. "Then we decided to go out to eat... and then this was her reaction of her first time being able to see our faces."

Picked up her glasses. Went out to eat and put them on her. Her reaction :) melts my heart

Since then, the video has been viewed more than 18 million times, and Jessica is hoping it will teach other parents the importance of vision checks for children. We can't think of a better endorsement for optical care than that smile.
