Are Color-Changing High Heels the Shoes of the Future?

Want to change the color of your shoes? There's an app for that.

You'll never need to stare at your closet again, trying to find the perfect shoe to take you from day to night. There are smart phones, smart cars, and now there are smart shoes. Volvorii Timeless smart shoes appear to be a sleek pair of stilettos. But what makes them so freakin' cool is that they change colors with the tap of a button (OK, the click of an app).

IShuu Tech, a Lituanian startup, created these pumps that literally change colors and patterns before your very eyes. Using a hidden circuit board, Bluetooth and battery (a USB wireless charger juices it up in about two hours), they created a customizable panel that lines the sides of the shoes. Though the leather base of the shoe is either white or black, the panel changes from white to black to a variety of black-and-white patterns. You can have classic black and white for your meeting and switch it up to a chic pattern for your dinner date.

With two heel heights -- 3.5 inches and 4.5 inches -- these shoes may very well become a closet staple. Unfortunately, they don't come cheap -- a pair costs $249 -- and you'll have to wait until December to get your first pair. Watch the video below and tweet us @TLCmeNow to let us know if you would get your own pair.
