Most new parents will do just about anything to avoid waking a sleeping baby --with a little one, every moment of rest counts! -- but not photographer Laura Izumikawa. When her 4-month-old daughter, Joey Marie Choi, sleeps, Izumikawa uses that time to dress the baby in elaborate outfits, striking wigs, and pop-culture inspired costumes that have turned her Instagram into a must-follow for more than 120,000 fans.

"Because Joey slept so deeply," she told the Huffington Post, "I thought it'd be fun adding little props on her just to send some hilarious pictures to our parents." The props started out simple -- a fruit headdress, a red dress mimicking the dancer emoji, a few artfully arranged pastries on National Donut Day. But as Joey has gotten older, the outfits have gotten more elaborate: Princess Ariel, complete with red wig and seashell top; Jon Snow, Han Solo, and Thor; Beyonce, Sia, and Cinderella (each with their own tiny wig).

Laugh it up, fuzzball. #starwars

The images may have some parents wishing they had an infant who would sleep as well, but Izumikawa says the project is meant to be inspirational: "I hope that these photos and videos will make people smile and also remind parents to have fun with their kids and not get too caught up in the seriousness of parenting."

Hey babygirl, let me take a pik at chu. #pokemon
