School is almost out for the summer, your patio is finally furnished, and the sun is up long enough after the kids' bedtime to make this the perfect time of year for drinking wine in the backyard at sunset with your neighborhood clique. One to try: Exquisite Collection's Cotes de Provence Rose 2016, which won a silver medal at the International Wine Challenge this year. The best part? This rose is an Aldi brand and it costs under $10.

Aldi describes the rose as a blend that "delivers delicate yet intense flavors of summer fruits, with a subtle quartzy spice," and suggests pairing it with grilled fish or salads. The company's Tony Baines, joint managing director of corporate buying, told Business Insider that the brand has been focusing on its wine offerings -- making the award a sweet win: "We have been working closely with renowned winemaker Jean Claude Mas to change perceptions around French wine, which is often perceived as expensive and intimidating, so it is fantastic to see some of these products acknowledged as some of the best in the world."

Though the wine is only listed on the store's UK site, the chain will be offering an American version for $8.99 -- but it's a limited edition, so make sure you stock up for the next three months' worth of girls' nights now.
