Katie Fehlinger is a meteorologist on Philadelphia's local CBS affiliate. She's also a very, very, pregnant woman. Fehlinger is in her 35th week of pregnancy but she's still working hard at her on-air job. That should be cause for celebration, but unfortunately some viewers were rather critical of her pregnant body. They took to social media to complain about Fehlinger's form-fitting pregnancy outfits. One comment called her a "sausage in a casing," and several others commented that a woman who was so visibly pregnant shouldn't be allowed on air.

Say what?

Fehlinger was obviously dismayed by the commentary, so she took to her own social media and wrote a thoughtful response to her "haters."

"Everyone's right to their opinion is important," she wrote on her Facebook page," but so are manners."

"Even during the most uncomfortable - and let's face it, less than glamorous - symptoms of pregnancy, what women go through to bring their precious children into the world is, simply put, AMAZING and you should be lauded," she continued.

"Frankly, I don't care how 'terrible' or 'inappropriate' anyone thinks I look. I will gladly gain 50 pounds & suffer sleepless, uncomfortable nights if it means upping my chances to deliver 2 healthy baby girls."

Fehlinger's defense of her pregnant body gained the encouragement of plenty of moms-to-be, who posted pictures of their own baby bumps in support.

"I think the response has been so huge because it is one of the most relatable topics," said Fehlinger of the support. "Everyone has a mother, knows someone who is a mother, or has kids themselves. The response to this post has proved to me that positivity will always beat out the negativity."
