A 5-Ingredient Pumpkin Ice Cream (No Ice Cream Maker Needed!)

In my house, ice cream is a year-round dessert. The flavors and combinations are endless, and it's guaranteed to be a crowd-pleaser. But for those without an ice cream maker, it's not always easy to DIY this dessert. That's why we love Laura Vitale's no-nonsense pumpkin ice cream recipe. With just a few ingredients, you can literally whip up a pumpkin spiced dessert that will satisfy any sweet tooth.

Here's what you'll need:

1-1/2 cups of heavy cream, whipped to stiff peaks
3/4 cup of pure pumpkin puree
1 small can of sweetened condensed milk
2 tsp of pumpkin pie spice (plus a pinch of salt)
1 tsp of vanilla extract

Instructions:
First, use a hand mixer (or your own elbow grease) to whip the cream into stiff peaks. Next, mix the pumpkin and the rst of the ingredients until they are well-combined. Fold the cream into the pumpkin mixture and stir. Add the liquid to a container with a tight-fitting lid. Put it in the freezer for 8-10 hours or overnight. When you're ready to serve, let the ice cream stand at room temperature for 5-10 minutes so it can soften..
