If you are gearing up to celebrate the big game this Sunday, there is one thing football fans can all agree on--enjoying delicious food while watching the game is a must. But with just a few game day snacks and appetizers, you can rack up some serious calories. So instead of over indulging and totally wreaking your healthy eating plan, here's seven simple swaps that will cut calories and fat but are still full on flavor.

Turkey or Chicken Chili

A large pot of chili is always a crowd pleaser for game day parties but you can save calories by making a turkey or chicken chili. Also, instead of loading up your chili with calorie laden toppers, swap out your chili toppers for reduced fat cheese, light sour cream, scallions, jalape?os, and cilantro.

Crispy ANCHO BAKED CHICKEN WINGS without the hassle, mess and heart attack of fried wings - can I get a hallelujah?!? and because everyone needs the BEST wings for Game Day! Baked or Grilled Wings

Skip the creamy dips and choose dips that are made from Greek yogurt instead of sour cream. You'll still get all the flavor but without all the fat.

Swap Sour Cream for Greek Yogurt in Dips

Choose a flatbread pizza with veggies over regular pizza topped with meat. You can cut the calories but not the flavor with a flatbread option.

Make Your Own Healthy Nachos

ITS FRYYYDAY! ? last night i chopped up and baked some sweet potato fries to share with the fam and i wanted to share with you all ? making your own fries is soo much cheaper, healthier, tastier, and more fun than buying a bag of them from the store. Recipe is below! For my last full day in Cali we're going to fashion island (fave place to shop evaaa), riding beach cruisers by the water, and just relaxing before I'm off to NYC tomorrow. Have a great weekend! ???? o Baked Sweet Potato Fries ?: - bag of sweet potatoes - 1 tbsp olive oil - seasonings of choice: i did black pepper, garlic powder, and everything but the bagel seasoning from @traderjoes Preheat oven to 400F and spray a baking sheet with coconut oil spray. Wash and scrub your potatoes then dry completely with a towel. Chop all your potatoes into long thin strips and throw into a mixing bowl. Pour in olive oil and seasonings then mix around with a spatula. Line your fries on the baking sheet (don't let them touch!) then place in oven. Cook for about ~20-30 minutes (depends on thickness of fries) then flip all of the fries over and cook for an additional ~15-20 min. You want both sides to be brown and crispy! Let cool then serve!
