Stacy London has been helping women look (and feel!) their best for her entire career, and she's an expert in making women look great no matter their body type. Check out her top 20 fashion and style tips that work for anyone and everyone.

1. Unless you're at the beach, stay away from showing too much skin. While you might think it makes you appear young, it's actually the surest way to look older.

2. Non-athletic sneakers have made a huge comeback as casual footwear. Some sneakers even look cute with suits or 90s style dresses.

3. If you're short, try high-waisted pants and shorter tops. Long tops with lower-waisted bottoms won't elongate you.

4. Make sure you own a few good suits that you can break up. You can mix and match with fun colored or patterned blouses. When in doubt, fitted jackets and structured trousers are always great for business attire.

5. Workout clothes are never going to help you feel comfortable in your skin. Get out of those yoga pants, try on some real clothes, and see what shapes work for you.

6. Don't be afraid to try a bright lipstick!

7. Less really is more. Add a couple great statement pieces to your look and let them shine.

8. Feel free to rock your wild style, but do it right. Stick with one color hair and pair down the accessories and other makeup so that you look more chic than costume-like.

9. Size has nothing to do with style!

10. Don't underestimate the power of a properly fitted bra. With this one minor change, you'll look years younger and create a visible hourglass figure.

11. If you're busty, look for dresses that hit at the smallest part of your waist below your ribcage, and then flare out. Toss the old t-shirts and look for tops with some structure. Don't hide under baggy clothes as they'll only add bulk to your curvy frame.

12. Tailoring is key! A well-tailored jean or pant can completely change a look. Unless you have a train, your dress should not be on the floor.

13. Don't confuse tailoring for tight-fitting. They're not one in the same.

14. Don't hesitate to go up a size in a piece of clothing and then have it tailored to fit you. The number on the label doesn't matter. What matters is how you look in it!

15. You are pretty and special regardless of what you wear. Find clothes that make you feel that way.

16. Get out of your kids' closets. Leggings aren't for adults!

17. Put those panty-hose away until winter. While they aren't a total no-no, they can look old-fashioned depending on the outfit. Instead, try out a fun colored or patterned stocking.

18. Bright, colored hair can be fun. But a natural color is more likely to complement and highlight your face

19. Adding color to your wardrobe doesn't mean you need to wear bright shades and neon. Instead, try jewel tones and pair them with fun pieces like an awesome jacket, well-fitted jean, or a great pair of heels.

20. We're all in this together. Let's lift each other up and support each other through the insecurity and the struggle.
