Here's to Dad! The master of the grill! The one who wields the paint brushes and hammer! The one who swoops in to help mom when she's this close to losing it on the kids. Where would we be without Dear Old Dad? We hope to never, ever find out. So in honor of Father's Day, we're sharing our favorite Dad Hacks so you can be even more awesome than you already are.

Making a fort for you kids? Use a fitted sheet rather than a blanket for the roof. It's much sturdier and you can get a whole lot more creative with your building.

Want to make the ultimate bacon sandwich? Rather than just put a few pieces of cooked bacon on the bread, start with six pieces uncooked bacon. Create a weaved pattern--three pieces horizontally and three pieces parallel-- with the bacon and bake in the oven. When it's cooked and crispy, place the weaved bacon on your sandwich to ensure you get delicious bacon in every single bite. Delicious!

Leftover pizza never tastes the same once it hits the microwave, but you can fix this by putting a glass of water in the microwave with your pizza. It helps to keep the pizza soft and delicious the next day.

Not sure what to get your wife for her birthday or anniversary? Tell her you already bought her gift and ask her to guess what it is. She'll start listing all the things she'd love to have and BOOM--you now have a shopping list for her. You're welcome.

Toss a few small silica packets into your toolbox. They'll help keep your tools from rusting.

When you're at the movie theater, impress your lady with your butter skills. For the theaters that have the self-dispensing butter, stick a straw on the dispenser and place the straw into your popcorn bag. This way you get butter all though the popcorn and you'll never have dry, butterless popcorn at the bottom of the bag! Life changing!

Wrap a rubber band around a paint can and use it to get excess paint off your brushes so you can paint like a pro.

Want to know if batteries are dead? Drop the battery, negative side down, on a hard surface. A fresh battery contains a gel on the negative end that will causes it to fall with a thud, but a dead one will bounce. So now you'll know when it's time to toss the batteries in your remote.

Use a rubber band to remove a stripped screw by lacing a wide rubber band in between the screw driver -use one that is one size up from the screw head-- and the screw. The rubber band will fill in the gaps caused by the strip, and you'll be about to get the screw out.

Put a little vodka in a spray bottle and spray it on and around the picnic table before you sit down to eat. Flies will stay away and you can eat in peace.

And if you want to drink that vodka but you grabbed the cheap kind, run the vodka through a water filter four times. The vodka will taste smoother and you just saved yourself a few bucks.

We already know you're king of the grill, but impress everyone with your burger making skills by pressing a dimple into the top of your burger patties and placing an ice cube there. This will keep the meat moist while it cooks. Yummy!

Are you cooking up pancakes or waffles for the family? Save yourself from cutting everyone's food by using a pizza cutter to quickly get bite sized pieces for the kiddos.
