Maybe you even bought the largest container of coconut oil you could find just so you could seewhat all the fuss is about. So what can this amazing oil do? The better question is what can't it do! Try 11 of our favorite ways to use coconut oil around your house.

1. Remove makeup

If you're looking for a natural eye makeup remover that's easy on your skin, all you need is coconut oil. Simply dab the coconut oil on a cotton ball and gently rub to remove any eye makeup. You'll be shocked how easily the makeup comes off, even waterproof mascara!

2. Get glowing skin

Didn't get enough sleep last night and your skin is paying the price? Give your face a quick pick me up and highlight by sweeping a small amount of coconut oil on top of your makeup. The oil gives your skin a natural glow to brighten up your face.

3. Ease an itchy scalp

To clear up a dry, itchy scalp or to give your hair a deep conditioning, rub a layer of the coconut oil into your hair and let it sit for 30 minutes. When you rinse it out, your hair will look and feel amazing.

4. Soothe your pet's skin

You're not the only one that gets beautiful hair from coconut oil. Your dog can get a shiny coat too! If your pooch is a little stinky, has occasional dandruff, or has hot spots, coconut oil can soothe all these aliments. Did you spend too much time in the sun and now your skin is paying the price? Soothe sunburned skin by rubbing coconut oil on your red skin. You should feel relief immediately.

10. Clean up sticky messes
