First there was "conscious uncoupling" (thanks, Gwyneth and Chris), and now there's the #divorceselfie. Take a virtual walk around the hashtags on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, and you just might happen upon a photo of a seemingly happy couple celebrating...their breakup.

It's a trend that's been bubbling beneath the surface of late, but then really took off after a photo of a Calgary couple outside their local courthouse took over the internet.

Shannon Neuman, the viral divorcee pictured above, told the Huffington Post that she and her now-ex aren't celebrating the divorce, per se, rather their ability to remain amicable through it. "If we were celebrating," she said, "It was the completion of the process and coming out on the other side as friends."

The Neumans aren't the only camera-unshy former couple to share their newly unwed bliss with the world. Take this Boulder, Colorado couple:

And this couple, whose caption attests that they "still make a great team" and are "glad to be friends":

#divorceselfie we still make a great team. Glad to be friends.
