Flower girls are well known for stealing the show at a wedding. Sometimes it's because they look so adorable in their flower girl dresses or sometimes it's because they to run rather than walk down the aisle. But for Andria Farthing, her flower girl stole the show for a different reason.

When Farthing was planning her June wedding in Madison, Wisconsin, she knew just who to ask to be her flower girl: her 28-year-old cousin, Patrick Casey. While asking a grown man to be your flower girl is a bit unconventional, her wedding guests loved it and now the internet is loving it too.

"They've been together a while and I started lobbying to be the flower man before they were even engaged," Casey told ABC News. Turns out, the couple didn't think it was such a bad idea, "They loved the idea, and I was beyond excited they said yes once they were officially engaged."

The best part of Casey being the flower man, the flower basket he carried for the wedding holds a sentimental value for the cousins. Twenty years ago, Farthing and Casey walked down the aisle together as flower girl and ring bearer for a family wedding. Casey carried the same basket Farthing used when they were kids.

When it was time for the happy couple to tie the knot, Casey took his role as "flower man" very seriously and with a lot of sass.

The real crowd pleaser was when he ?...pulled flower petals from my pockets and threw them in the air, LeBron powder-toss style."

"A good marriage includes a lot of laughing," said Casey. "So what's wrong with a bit of fun at your wedding with someone you both love and who loves you both?" We couldn't agree more!

Here's Casey's entire walk down the aisle:
